Ingredients (base)
- 1 cup almonds
- 12 fresh medjool dates
- Pinch rock salt
Ingredients (filling)
- 2 ripe avocados
- ¼ cup raw cacao powder
- ¼ cup raw honey (or sweetener of choice)
- ¼ cup melted coconut oil
Method
- Place almonds in a food processor and blended until nuts have been processed but are still a little chunky.
- Add the dates and rock salt and combine well. You want the mixture to be sticking together but still a little crumbly.
- Press mixture into a lined baking tin (I used a cheesecake tin).
- Add all filling ingredients into a food processor and combine well until thoroughly mixed.
- Pour over the top of base and freeze for two hours.
