A super easy healthy treat that will definitely satisfy sugar cravings. These choc chip cookie dough protein balls are the bomb.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops protein powder
  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1/2 cup almond butter (or other nut butter)
  • 1/4 cup maple
  • 1/4 cup dark choc chips
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, then stir through choc chips.
  2. Roll into balls and set in the fridge.

Easy as that! :) xx

  1. Hi Sara, I’m getting very different macros and I followed the recipe exactly. I’m getting 58% fat, 18 % protein and 24% carbs. Any idea why that might be? My protein powder is 31gram scoop with 25 grams of protein, 1 gram of carbs and 2.5 grams of fat per scoop.

      I'm not sure what your fitness goals are but if it's weight loss, tracking the amount of food you eat (ie. calories) is more important than the macronutrient breakdown, to be honest :) My colleague and you might have used different apps to calculate them of different products (sometimes those apps insist on your selecting a specific brand) - but the important thing is that you are mindful about your calories in general and to lose weight, you should be at a slight deficit, some 200-300 calories less than you eat.
