And I&#8217;m not surprised! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Australian babe is really popular right now, and for a good reason. She&#8217;s a fantastic actress, and she also seems to be very kind, funny, and smart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MARGOT ROBBIE&#8217;S DIET <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Margot is clearly a superstar at the moment, and that&#8217;s awesome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But that doesn&#8217;t mean that every part of her routine is perfect or that you should copy it. Her diet is pretty extreme, and I don&#8217;t recommend parts of it. Instead, try to learn from the good things she does. :) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>MARGOT&#8217;S DIET WHEN SHE&#8217;S NOT PREPARING FOR A ROLE <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Margot admits that she isn&#8217;t the healthiest eater when she&#8217;s taking a break from acting. She eats in two extremes \u2014 junk food or rabbit food as she calls it!  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In general, Margot considers herself pretty laid back. Beers, waffles, fries, chocolate are all of her <g class=\"gr_ gr_9 gr-alert gr_spell gr_inline_cards gr_disable_anim_appear ContextualSpelling multiReplace\" id=\"9\" data-gr-id=\"9\">favourite<\/g> and most regular off-duty foods. But, when she needs to slip into a bikini, she says she tends to eat just carrots for several days to slim down. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trust me, Margot Robbie seems amazing, but yo-yo dieting isn&#8217;t good for anybody! It is<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/weight-loss-mistakes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"> too extreme<\/a>. Your body will look and feel better if you eat well consistently while also allowing yourself to enjoy your meals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I always suggest people eat healthy meals 80 percent of the time and indulge 20 percent of the time. She takes her job as an actor very seriously, so she commits to getting the best body possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When she&#8217;s preparing for a role, she doesn&#8217;t eat: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saturated fats<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fast food<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sugary drinks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chocolate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">Really, she limits herself to high-protein dishes with lots of vegetables. She only has a glass of wine for a treat, and she&#8217;ll typically have a glass every other day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BREAKFAST<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>For breakfast, Margot likes to have porridge with blueberries. She also loves green smoothies, which she makes with kale and apples. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her favorite breakfast, though, is avocado toast with bacon. Sounds delicious! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>LUNCH<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Margot&#8217;s lunches always include protein. For example, she likes lemon chicken with brown rice or a salad made with tomatoes, cucumbers, and mackerel. And when she eats grains, she makes sure that they&#8217;re whole grains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>DINNER<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Dinner is more protein with nutritious carbohydrates. She likes: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Sweet potatoes with tuna steaks <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Vegetable hot pot with rice noodles <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SHE DRINKS A LOT OF TEA<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Margot says she drinks probably 10 cups of tea a day. To her, a cup of tea is the answer to everything. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tea can be great for your health. For example, in, I-Tonya, Margot had to look like an Olympic athlete and be able to skate like one! This requires a lot of time dedicated to working out and choreography. In fact, it was probably the most intense training she&#8217;s ever done. After all, she was playing an athlete! Margot was in the gym (or on the ice!) 5 days a week, and she trained for four hours every time she visited the gym. Wow! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of course, Margot did a lot of ice skating to get ready for the movie too. In fact, skating is one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenshealth.com.au\/margot-robbie-diet-exercise\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Margot&#8217;s favorite cardio and toning workouts<\/a> in general. She loves how she feels strong and graceful after being on the ice. Eating well and exercise need to be prevalent in my life so that I can feel my best, but I don\u2019t want to dwell on it too much.\u2019 Such an amazing view on health and wellness &#8211; all in moderation!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HOW MARGOT ROBBIE PREPARED FOR SUICIDE SQUAD<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Margot wanted to look good for her role as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.popworkouts.com\/margot-robbie-workout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad<\/a>. The role requires a lot of stunts and she trained so hard that she did many of them herself. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She told her trainer that she wanted to look toned, but she also wanted to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/booty-workout\/\" target=\"_blank\">build a bit of a booty<\/a> to show off in her short shorts! Margot worked with celebrity trainer Andie Hecker, who also has helped train several Victoria&#8217;s Secret models, like Miranda Kerr and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/rosie-huntington-whiteley-diet-workout-routine-model\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (opens in a new tab)\">Rosie Huntington-Whiteley<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andie put together 2-3 hour long workouts for Margot. Andie has a background in ballet, so she mixed in ballet moves for toning with hour-long <a aria-label=\"HIIT circuits (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/hiit-workout-that-wont-cause-bulkiness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HIIT circuits<\/a>, strength routines, and choreography (for the film). &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HIIT WORKOUTS <\/strong>FOR SUICIDE SQUAD <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Although Margot likes cardio workouts like running, she mainly did HIIT workouts when she was training for her role as Harley Quin. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her HIIT workouts were very long. She would spend 45 minutes to an hour doing these intense circuits. Margot had to be in incredible shape to manage that! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andie said the circuits often included the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/health\/la-he-margot-robbie-suicide-squad-20160808-snap-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">following moves:<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Trampoline\/Rebounder Jumps &#8211; 1 minute<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skipping Rope  &#8211; 1 minute <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bosu Ball Hops &#8211; 1 minute <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Big Circles Leg Rotations &#8211; 1 minute <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double Leg Lifts &#8211; 1 minute <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outer Thigh Lifts &#8211; 1 minute <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One Hundreds &#8211; 1 minute <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mountain Climbers &#8211; 1 minute <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>She would repeat this circuit about 4 times before moving on to something else. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>CRAZY-EIGHT STRENGTH TRAINING BEFORE SUICIDE SQUAD<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Margot used strength training to help build the muscle that her character would have naturally had. Her training also helped her have the endurance to play such a high-energy character. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But, like many of us, Margot <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/female-guide-how-to-get-lean-and-not-bulky-skinny-legs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"didn't want to end up looking bulky (opens in a new tab)\">didn&#8217;t want to end up looking bulky<\/a>. After all, she wasn&#8217;t trying to be the Hulk! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Andie tailored a type of strength-training just for Margot called crazy-eight. With this routine, you do eight strength training moves back to back without much rest in between. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is so fast-paced that it burns a lot of calories and can feel like cardio.
