Megan is the first to admit that she works for it. And she works for it HARD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan Fox\u2019s diet and workout routine is strict and her commitment to maintaining her health and physical appearance is something that even the most die-hard fitness buffs can aspire to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here\u2019s how she does it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Megan Fox\u2019s Diet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan Fox\u2019s diet is a bit more complicated, as she tries to follow a combination of Keto, Paleo, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.everydayhealth.com\/diet-nutrition\/5-factor-diet.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Five-Factor diet<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This means she avoids grains, processed foods, legumes, and other ingredients that kick her body out of ketosis. Eating like that can be hard to plan for and figure out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But she does it and she takes care to eat five meals throughout the day, breakfast, lunch dinner and two snacks in between.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan also used to be on a strict vegan diet, but she was forced to stop after she had lost too much weight. That type of diet isn&#8217;t for everyone so she now eats a bit of everything, as that works better for her body and health.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/the-keto-diet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RELATED POST: Is the Keto Diet Good for You?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Breakfast<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Breakfast is Megan\u2019s favourite and most important meal of the day. It\u2019s what gives her the energy and nutrients she needs to work out and keep up with her super-energetic kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She starts things off with a cup of coffee. Then, she moves to a high-protein meal like an egg white omelet with fresh vegetables or skyr (low-fat Icelandic yoghurt) with seasonal fresh fruit and a handful of almonds.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This gives her the perfect combination of healthy carbs (those found in fruits and veg), fat, and protein.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lunch<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For lunch, Megan will go with salad with some grilled or smoked salmon on top for added protein. She loves salmon eat it at least once a day. But if she\u2019s not feeling like fish, she\u2019ll add grilled chicken or turkey breast to the mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since she follows the Paleo\/Keto protocols, she\u2019ll drizzle the greens with extra virgin olive oil and some apple cider vinegar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apple cider vinegar is widely believed to have a part in fat burning, fat storage and appetite regulation. They\u2019re packed with beneficial vitamins, minerals, and nutrients that help her body stay lean. She loves to drink a smoothie or two throughout the day to help her stay full and energized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I know what you\u2019re thinking\u2014smoothies are packed with sugar and carbs. And <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/smoothie-mistakes-you-might-be-making\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">they can be<\/a>. But Megan\u2019s tend to be made with fresh fruit, a bit of almond milk, and whatever protein powder she\u2019s currently using. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her other favourite snack are almonds. These nuts are a great way to lower LDL cholesterol, or bad cholesterol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Foods She Avoids<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan actively avoids foods like gluten, processed ingredients, and other traditional junk foods. But she doesn\u2019t just do it to help her stay lean. Carbs just don&#8217;t make her feel good, which is why her main source of carbs are fruits and veggies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s very important to listen to what your body is telling you. If a food is making your body feel bad, try and cut it out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan tries to stick to her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/is-the-paleo-diet-good-for-weight-loss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Keto\/Paleo<\/a> routine each day. That said, though most days are truly healthy and designed to help her keep her body as lean and toned as fans have come to expect, she\u2019s not afraid to indulge now and then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When she\u2019s feeling like something a little more reminiscent of comfort food, she\u2019ll whip up some blueberry oatmeal pancakes or a homemade hot chocolate with fat-free milk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><strong>Megan Fox\u2019s Workout Routine<\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan works hard to stay fit and healthy and she does so weekly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She\u2019s committed to working out at least three days a week and really pushes herself hard under the guidance of her trainer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.harleypasternak.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Harley Pasternak<\/a>. Harley has trained many celebrities like Megan Fox, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/ariana-grande-diet-workout-routine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ariana Grande<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/kim-kardashian-diet-workout-routine-model\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kim Kardashian<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cardio<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Megan Fox\u2019s workout routine focuses on cardio a lot. Even when she\u2019s lifting weights or running through a weight circuit, she\u2019s still keeping her heartrate up and getting a cardio workout in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the gym, she\u2019ll jog on the treadmill or get a solid workout on the elliptical. But her secret to success lies in the way she does her strength workouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are almost no rest periods between exercises. This helps her keep her heartrate up and incorporates more cardio into each session.
