Let&#8217;s talk about how Natalie&#8217;s diet and workout routine changed over the years. :)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Natalie Portman Diet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Natalie Portman has been vegan for quite a long while now and she says she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.harpersbazaar.com\/culture\/features\/a12025970\/natalie-portman-24-hours\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">sticks to a pretty clean diet<\/a>. Both Natalie and her husband cook, and they enjoy making Italian, Japanese, and Middle Eastern dishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can even try one of her favourite recipes, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_8El0q-Xk-Y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Spicy Chickpea Stew<\/a>, the way she prepares it! Her favourite tastes are Banana Salted Caramel and Mint Chip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Natalie Portman Diet for Thor<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During the filming of the movie, Natalie stuck to her vegan diet. She did end up eating more than she usually does since they needed her to maintain all of the muscle she built while training. The important part was increasing her protein intake. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.harpersbazaar.com\/uk\/beauty\/fitness-wellbeing\/a41027098\/natalie-portman-thor-workout\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">According to Pendergast<\/a>, Natalie ate five meals a day, plus three vegan protein shakes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her typical day would look something She had some previous experience as she trained in ballet until she was 13 years old so that was helpful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She had a double for some of the more difficult moves, but <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/beauty\/health-fitness\/advice\/a2618\/ballet-exercise-natalie-portmans-black-swan-workout-516571\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">as Mary says,<\/a> almost 90 percent of the dancing is actually Natalie which is very impressive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When she wasn&#8217;t following Mary&#8217;s custom mix of mat work and ballet, Natalie gave her joints a break by swimming. They would swim 1.5km (1 mile) every day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After giving birth, Natalie still liked swimming as well as going hiking. It&#8217;s super cool to see that she was doing some of her own stunts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To focus on her core, she followed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.insider.com\/thor-love-and-thunder-natalie-portman-workout-routine-2022-6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">this workout<\/a>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1 set\/20 reps:<\/strong>&nbsp;Basic abdominal crunch (feet down)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 set\/20 reps:<\/strong>&nbsp;Abdominal crunch (feet up)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1 set\/20 reps:<\/strong>&nbsp;Abdominal crunch with a twist<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3 sets\/1 minute:<\/strong>&nbsp;Weighted overhead arm raise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And for those amazing toned arms, she really put in the hard work and the effort paid off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First she&#8217;d start with a warm-up consisting of exercises such as marching arms, lat stretches, roll-down walk outs, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the main set, she would focus on a lot of weightlifting exercises such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dumbbell straight arm lateral raise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seated dumbbell arnold press<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dumbbell bicep curl&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dumbbell tricep press&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Along with planks, squat jumps, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>She&#8217;d finish this up with a cool-down session which included stretching and release with a foam roller.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When it comes to cardio, they would focus on 3 rounds of boxing for 2 minutes followed by 1 minute of skipping.
