This is why I recently reached out to some of you to ask about your progress and feedback. These are their stories. Hope you find them as motivating and uplifting as I have.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>In this interview, I chatted with 43 year old Laura from the United States. Being a marathoner in the past, Laura still manages to live an active lifestyle to this day. Have you ever tried exercising according to your body type before you started the Lean Legs Program?<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura: <\/strong>I did know my body type (I&#8217;m a mesomorph.) but I did not know how to exercise for my body type. I am only five feet tall and I used to run marathons. I spent years running sprints and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/why-i-dont-lift-heavy-weights-anymore\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">lifting heavy weights trying to slim down<\/a>. I was so frustrated because I worked harder than anyone I knew but I just kept getting bigger. What was your fitness routine before you started the program? What made you change it?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura: <\/strong>Distance running, sprints, heavy weights, HIIT. A major injury put a stop to running and lifting. How did you find out about the program and what convinced you to try it out?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura:<\/strong> I can&#8217;t remember how but I first found Rachael in 2018! When did you first start seeing results? How did you track your progress and how did you feel when you noticed those first results?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura:<\/strong> When I first started I could not walk fast at all (only 2.5mph) and I could only go for 30 minutes. So the first result I noticed was that I was able to increase my walking time and then my walking speed. That was really exciting for me! I noticed my body slimming down after about 6 weeks I think. I had taken before measurements and before pictures so I tracked my progress that way. I felt so shocked honestly when I saw the results. I&#8217;ve never had a slim body in my entire life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/female-guide-how-to-get-lean-and-not-bulky-skinny-legs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RELATED POST: The Female Guide On How To Get Lean And Not Bulky<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-6-what-was-your-absolute-favorite-part-of-the-lean-legs-program-and-why\">6. What was your absolute favorite part of the lean legs program and why?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura:<\/strong> My absolute favorite part is that I can tell I&#8217;m getting healthier and more fit! I can walk faster &amp; longer and that makes me really happy! And by far the best part is that I went from having osteopenia (on my way to osteoporosis) to having normal bone density! So I reversed osteopenia through walking and that to me is better than weight loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-7-what-was-the-most-challenging-part-of-the-lean-legs-program-what-motivated-you-to-keep-going\">7. What was the most challenging part of the lean legs program? What motivated you to keep going?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura:<\/strong> Having the discipline to do the strength workouts, especially on the weekends, haha! The <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/gb\/app\/femme-nativa\/id1641671096\">app<\/a> is so motivating though. I am very motivated by checkmarks so having the satisfaction of checking off a workout after I&#8217;ve completed it kept me going. How did you feel after finishing the lean legs program? What are your goals for the future?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura:<\/strong> After the first round I could definitely see results so I went straight in to complete another round of LL2. I didn&#8217;t have much strength or stamina when I started so on this second round I&#8217;m able to put in a lot more effort. When I&#8217;m done with this round of the <a href=\"https:\/\/rachael-attard-fn.myshopify.com\/pages\/lean-legs-2-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lean Legs 2 Program<\/a> I&#8217;m going to do the <a href=\"https:\/\/rachael-attard-fn.myshopify.com\/pages\/glutes-abs-and-legs-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">GAL (Glutes, Abs and Legs) program<\/a>. My goal is to enjoy life. I have spent the last 15 years doing punishing workouts that left me miserable and injured. The Femme Nativa workouts are low stress and sustainable so that has freed up a lot of my energy. I don&#8217;t have to worry &amp; obsess anymore, I get to enjoy my life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-9-how-many-rounds-of-the-program-did-you-do-one-round-is-8-weeks\">9. How many rounds of the program did you do? (One round is 8 weeks)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura:<\/strong> 1.5 and still going!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-10-are-you-happy-with-what-you-have-achieved-so-far-how-do-you-plan-on-continuing-your-fitness-journey\">10. Are you happy with what you have achieved so far? How do you plan on continuing your fitness journey?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura: <\/strong>Thrilled with what I have achieved! I don&#8217;t have plans to ever stop these workout programs honestly. Would you recommend the program to your friends? Why? What makes it stand out?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura: <\/strong>Absolutely I recommend them! These workouts are sustainable. You can&#8217;t say that about anything else. You can also do the workouts anywhere. I followed the program while I was on a cruise even. Above all, it&#8217;s just an enjoyable way to move your body. 30 minutes, low stress, doesn&#8217;t flood my body with adrenaline and obviously, it works!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-12-do-you-have-any-advice-for-the-girls-that-are-about-to-start-their-fitness-journey\">12. Do you have any advice for the girls that are about to start their fitness journey?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Laura: <\/strong>Don&#8217;t worry about following the program perfectly or missing a day. Just be consistent overall. In my life before LL2, I would stress SO MUCH if I ever missed a workout, like it was the end of the world. That mentality didn&#8217;t get my anywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I&#8217;m thrilled that Laura found the <a href=\"https:\/\/rachael-attard-fn.myshopify.com\/pages\/lean-legs-1-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lean Legs Program<\/a> is exciting and achievable. I know how hard it is to incorporate a routine, especially when you&#8217;ve experienced health conditions.
