I\u2019m excited to share an inspiring story about the fitness transformation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mrsjennasanders\/\">Jenna Sanders<\/a>, a busy mom and wife who has completely transformed her approach to health and fitness through our Lean Legs Program. If you\u2019re feeling overwhelmed trying to juggle it all, you\u2019ll want to hear about Jenna\u2019s journey. She proves that with a little dedication and a positive mindset, you can prioritize self-care and still enjoy life to the fullest!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-jenna-s-fitness-journey-began\">HOW JENNA&#8217;S FITNESS JOURNEY BEGAN<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMy fitness journey started from an early age. I was always into sports and keeping fit at school. When I left school, I wanted to join a gym and stay as fit as possible. I was always very mindful of how I looked and I wanted to look a certain way. But I kind of got a bit lost along the way.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I got into all kinds of training \u2013 kettlebells, zumba classes, all things that were fun to do but never really got the results I wanted to get. I then found a personal trainer who had me lifting weights and doing training that was very very intense and hardcore. And I would spend a couple of hours a day at the gym. I was getting stronger, sure, but I didn\u2019t feel like I was seeing the shape I was after. Instead of feeling lean and light, I felt heavy and didn\u2019t love how my legs and arms looked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After doing all of this training that wasn\u2019t really for me, I did gain a lot of muscle. And I found that people used to comment on my calves a lot, which was a lovely comment. But in my mind, I didn\u2019t want to have these big calf muscles. I wanted to have a leaner look.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then I found you online. I did the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/find-out-body-type\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">body type quiz<\/a>&nbsp;and I was blown away that everything I did prior to finding you was so wrong for me. I used to do bike sprints and uphill sprints and my legs would be getting thicker and I\u2019d be thinking \u2018oh my gosh I\u2019m supposed to be getting smaller and I\u2019m getting bigger\u2019 and I was just spending so much time doing all the wrong things for my body.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-discovering-the-lean-legs-program\">DISCOVERING THE LEAN LEGS PROGRAM<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI used to spend hours in the gym, lifting as heavy as I could and pushing myself to the max. I thought working out had to be tough to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After doing Lean Legs, I just felt like all the walking and the training, my legs changed shape, I had very slimmer thighs, and my&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/how-to-slim-calves-skinny-legs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">calves went so much smaller<\/a>, which I\u2019d been trying to achieve for such a long time. But yeah after 6 weeks I was like, wow this is incredible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the right foods, it took me 6 weeks to get results on the Lean Legs Program. After 6 weeks, I remember looking down and I literally had abs popping and I was like wow.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every Summer when I\u2019m going away with my family, I\u2019ll really knuckle down and I\u2019ll do a couple of rounds of Lean Legs. And everyone\u2019s like \u2018oh she\u2019s on her Rachael Attard Lean Legs again\u2019 and I\u2019m so focused because I just know exactly how good I\u2019m going to feel and the compliments I\u2019m going to get, especially on my legs, so many compliments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I remember going on my first holiday and putting a bikini on and never ever feeling so comfortable in a bikini. And I had a 1 and a 2-year-old at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m just about to turn 40 and I look back on my fitness journey and think wow I have come such a long way. I\u2019m so grateful to have found you when I did. When you put so much time into something and you\u2019re not getting the results that you want it can be really disheartening. And also you\u2019ve got conflicting information from personal trainers for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used to worry so much about \u201cfalling off\u201d and getting so fed up with the training that I was doing. But I just found that knowing I could get up in the morning even if it was going for a walk, I could do an hour and achieve better results. And it was good having that mindset knowing you can do what you need to do in a shorter amount of time.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friends have said to me \u2013 do you spend hours in the gym, do you not eat much? And I\u2019m like, I can\u2019t not eat much because I can\u2019t run without fuelling my body. But it\u2019s just once you can get your food and exercise just right, you\u2019ve got all the knowledge there to be able to do and feel exactly how I feel. I have foods in moderation and I think that\u2019s key. I make healthy choices because I know that when I\u2019m training, I\u2019m going to get the best results out of my training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, I started sleeping better as well and overall feeling confident and good about myself.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"572\" height=\"508\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Jenna-Sanders-transformation-2.png\" alt=\"Jenna's transformation\" class=\"wp-image-43697\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Jenna-Sanders-transformation-2.png 572w, https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Jenna-Sanders-transformation-2-300x266.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-training-after-having-kids\">TRAINING AFTER HAVING KIDS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve had 3 children and I\u2019ve had 2 cesarean sections. And I\u2019ve had big big babies. It\u2019s a hard journey being pregnant, your body changing and gaining weight. You don\u2019t recognize yourself when you first have a baby. But to know that you can achieve the results again and be even better is absolutely incredible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Someone said to me once \u2018you\u2019ll never look like you did before, and if you have another baby, you\u2019ll never look like you did last time\u2019. Actually, I can hand on heart say that I\u2019m so much more comfortable in my skin after having a third baby, because I know once I put my mind to it, once I do what I need to in the gym, I can achieve the results with your program so easily. As long as I\u2019m focused. I know it works for me. There was never any doubt in my mind after the third one that I wouldn\u2019t get back to where I was previously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t know about other moms, but I absolutely love pushing the pram. It\u2019s nice to be outside and breathing in the fresh air and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/is-walking-or-running-better-for-fat-loss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">getting your steps in<\/a>. For a new mom, that\u2019s a great way to get back out there and get walking. Here are her top tips and hacks to help you stay motivated and make fitness a regular part of your routine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-prepare-the-night-before\">1. <strong>PREPARE THE NIGHT BEFORE<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of Jenna&#8217;s best strategies for staying consistent is preparing the night before. \u201cI always set out my workout clothes and gather anything I need for my session the evening before,\u201d she shares. This helps eliminate any obstacles in the morning, ensuring she\u2019s ready to go as soon as she wakes up. By having everything ready to go, you can simply get up and start your workout without wasting time deciding what to wear or gathering your gear. It removes the mental hurdle of getting started, which can be especially helpful on busy mornings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-find-joy-in-movement\">2. <strong>FIND JOY IN MOVEMENT<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jenna emphasizes the importance of enjoying your workouts. She found that the key to staying consistent is turning fitness into something fun. \u201cMusic is my secret weapon,\u201d she says. \u201cSometimes I\u2019m literally singing along on my walks or treadmill runs. She feels more confident and fitter now than ever, even after having children! \u201cI think I\u2019m in better shape now than before I had my daughter,\u201d Jenna says, and you can just feel her pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s a powerful reminder that our bodies can bounce back and thrive after significant changes. Jenna\u2019s journey illustrates that consistency, rather than perfection, is the key. \u201cOnce you start prioritizing time for yourself, it becomes easier to keep going. Even a 30-minute workout makes a difference. It\u2019s just about making that time for yourself,\u201d she emphasizes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-overcoming-no-time-hurdles\">OVERCOMING \u201cNO TIME\u201d HURDLES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Jenna often hears the question: \u201cHow do you find time for fitness?\u201d Her answer? You have to <em>make<\/em> the time! For her, that means setting alarms and preparing the night before. \u201cIf it means getting up an hour earlier than usual, I\u2019ll do it. That feeling afterward, knowing you\u2019ve done something for yourself, is better than the extra hour of sleep,\u201d she explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She also has a little hack that I just love: sometimes, she tells herself she\u2019s just going for a walk, which feels less intimidating. But once she gets going, she often ends up doing a quick workout too!
