I&#8217;ve read stories about her about only consuming liquids for a week prior to the VS Show and also cutting out all food and drink (including water) 12 hours prior. She has been training with him for around 10 years. Michael says he trains her&nbsp;like a professional boxer getting ready for a fight.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":3} --><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"h-so-what-workouts-does-adriana-lma-actually-do-nbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>SO WHAT WORKOUTS DOES ADRIANA LIMA ACTUALLY DO?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:heading {\"level\":4} --><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"h-boxing\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BOXING<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>80% of Adriana&#8217;s Lima&#8217;s diet workout program actually consists of boxing, because it is her passion and she loves it. The reason for this may be the fact that it can cause you to bulk up, especially if you are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rachaelattard.com\/2-out-of-3-body-types-can-get-too-muscular\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"a mesomorph or an endomorph body type (opens in a new tab)\">a mesomorph or an endomorph body type<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:heading --><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-adriana-s-attitude-to-exercising-nbsp\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ADRIANA&#8217;S ATTITUDE TO EXERCISING&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><!-- \/wp:heading --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Adriana&#8217;s mentality to working out &#8211; \u201cI like to sweat, and I like intense workouts, nothing slow.\u201d And Michael&#8217;s comments on her workout ethic &#8211; &#8220;Adriana does what she has to in the gym. Her work ethic is out of control! When she gets in her mind she wants to get something done, she does it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>She is&nbsp;<em>extremely&nbsp;<\/em>dedicated and it shows. To put it simply, if you want to look like a model, you should train like one, just like Adriana does.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Adriana workouts out at least 6 days per week (sometimes every day and sometimes twice per day, especially in the lead up to the VS show). She says that working out is really part of her life every day, and she NEVER misses a workout.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>When travelling, Adriana travels with her jump rope. She says it&#8217;s hard to fit in workouts, but still does at least 10 minute of jump rope because even a little bit counts.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Adriana has some&nbsp;<em>serious&nbsp;<\/em>jump rope skills! She eats six meals per day and drinks 2L of water. This is a typical day of eating for her.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:list --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><!-- wp:list-item --><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>BREAKFAST = oatmeal with a mix of nuts and fruit (berries, almonds, sunflower seeds, raisins, dried cranberries, etc)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>MORNING SNACK = protein shake with fruit and vegetables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LUNCH = chicken breast, sweet potato, quinoa\/rice and vegetables<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AFTERNOON SNACK = carrot sticks, celery sticks, nuts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DINNER = light salad with lean protein such as chicken or fish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><!-- wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NIGHT SNACK = buckwheat, hemp milk and honey (eaten cold or hot)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list-item --><\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:list --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Adriana says the buckwheat beverage she makes helps with her digestion &amp; metabolism, and also helps satisfy her cravings for sweets.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><\/p>\n<p>Occasionally she will have some dark chocolate as a snack, especially when she needs an energy boost.
