I was absolutely moved by Demi Moore’s speech at the 2025 Golden Globes when she won Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in The Substance. Her performance was truly incredible, but it was her heartfelt words during her acceptance speech that really stuck with me. Demi opened up about her 45 years in the acting industry and how, for so long, she didn’t feel she was “allowed” to be recognized for her talent.

She shared that this was the first award she’s ever won as an actress, and honestly, I was in tears listening to her. It was such a powerful moment, and it got me thinking about how often women can feel overlooked or undervalued may it be in our careers, our personal lives, or even in our fitness journeys.

Her story really hit home for me because it shows how much strength we need when we’re working towards change. Starting a new workout routine, trying to lose weight, or simply feeling good in our own skin all of it takes so much resilience and belief in ourselves. Demi’s speech was such a beautiful reminder of that, and how it’s never too late to achieve your goals :)

DEMI MOORE’S DIET
